in my experience ive found sativa dominant strains picked early in the flower cycle will give you what you are looking for in the 1st instance, the daytime work smoko ...

one i can recommend 1st hand is Kalichakra from Mandala seeds (though 30% of this line can lean toward indica which you dont want )

gotta throw in a vote for the 'early sativa harvest' idea for your 'day stone', harvest when most trics are milky, allow some to go amber. Leave 'em in a bit longer for your nightstone, harvest amber trics.

cali orange is IMO the best all round strain and helpful for many negative states of mind. i used to use it for depression and ptsd.

 

50/50 split, and with selection u can have the more sat or ind dom growing

 

great orange flavours and both narcotic and euphoric - long lasting too.
