Tip you plants regularly after say two new sets of developing leafs,where you tip,instead of having one node u will have 2 nodes and tip them 4 nodes and so on.

Once the plant starts to branch out to limit this tip the branches and tie them either down closest to the ground or attach them to the wall of the growing space pulling them down at the same time.

I have also found Kinking to work extra well in small spaces

I've read in here that when kinking its good to use medical dressing tape where the kink is... if it splits there's a chance that it'll grow over... ideas??

also, when kinking is it better to get a little split in the branch??

not sure if anyone else has mentioned this method, but i am one of the people who uses dresing tape to cover splits....

i have used this when tying down (see 'exercise in tying down' in this forum) to cover splits to guard against potential infection, also it isn't as sticky as a lot of other tapes and can be easily removed....some breaks will grow over, in my experiece, it depends on how severe..

i'm not sure if spilitting is a highly desired result....i was a littles to agressive in tying down when i should have been doing it gradually to prevent splitting...
