Outdoor help!

Recommended Posts

Completely new to growing, about to attempt it for the first time out doors...

From the things I've read, when growing indoors, you change the lighting to 12/12 when they're about 30cms tall to make them flower, right?

How do you make them flower when growing outdoors? I know that naturally it will happen, but how do you make it happen before the plants get too big? I don't want to have a giant pot plant in my backyard, and I don't really want to go to the trouble of growing indoors.

So, how would I go about this outdoors?

if your in the southern hemi np

they wont get too big now

the grow season is almost done

there are ways ofcourse

but i would not expect dem to get over 1m if you plant now in fertile soil under full sun with irragation

small plant = small harvest

besides you could always tie dem down

or

scrog dem

put them under a screen

do a search for scrog

and youll see what i mean

you have de will

there many ways

Thanks for the help guys! I've done a bit more research and realised I should be alright with what I'm growing, as according to Sensai Seeds, the strain I've got only gets to about 5ft maximum, which is fine.

I was just worried about having a 2 metre monster in my yard by accident :yinyang:

I think, just to be safe, I'll give the low-stress training a shot like Gills suggested.

When I get around to growing, I'll be sure to make a grow diary.

Thanks again!
