Was reading the paper the other day and apparently www.wikileaks.com has posted the Australian governments list of banned websites for its mandatory internet filtering. Ironically the website wikileaks is on the banned list.

 

So i just tried to review the list for myself on wiki leaks but i cant get access the server is too full. has anyone else already reviewed the list ?

I desparetly want to know if OZstoners is on the list

 

 

 

For those not familiar with wikileaks this is a legendary website ran by a non-for profit that has built a failsafe system by which people can post annomouse leaks about corrupt govenment and business without fear of prosecution. It uses very clever networking to ensure poster annominity (spelling). For example a famous post was one that detailed the tested accuracy of certain type of american bomb (cant remember details) the govt had long been claiming its accuracy and ability to keep innocent civillians safe. THe report made the american military very red faced as it demonstrated just how criminally innaccurate these bombs were when in wind and other natural field conditions.

The shutting down of wikileaks proves most governments are literally ignoring our rights.

I'd love to see the many records from the us President to Francis Young the Chief Administrative Law Judge of the DEA in the latter 80's when they buried his report on decriminalizing marijuana and told him they were only interested in negative aspects of marijuana use. Even tho smoking marijuana cured AIDS/HIV and cancer it would still be illegal today, simply because so many people let the governments do their thinking for them. But what is really scary is we know and have known that the Government of the United States of America is lieing to and manipulating its citizens and the rest of the world keeping the truth from them and running propaganda ads to slant intrenational and the US public opinion/behavior.

There are no pot sites on it, none that I know of anyways. Most of the sites on the list anyone in their right mind would know to stay the hell away from just from the url names

Im shocked to hear that this filtering IS actually going ahead. I heard about it some 4 months ago, and thought it would never go ahead, there will just be to many unhappy people. But now, to hear that it's actually going ahead! I really am shocked. What is society going to become? Honestly, this whole thing is a pile of shit. If there are any protests against this thing, I'm in, 100%
