I would certainly like to endorse the permanent removal of children from drug-addicted parents

I thought this might interest some of you.

 

In parliament a few days ago, Luke Simpkins MP made the most remarkable speech out of the blue. It was in reference to the article in The Age titled 'Labor softens heroin stance as it splits from US policy'. Although Simpkins spoke about drug policy in general you may be interested to note that he considers cannabis as dangerous and addictive as heroin. This means that he considers regular cannabis smokers are addicts and should have their children permanently removed as well as other bizarre strategies.

Using this carte blanche description, does this mean that pollies who are alchoholic (by AMA standards) and pollies who smoke cigs should also have their kids taken from them and be put on the gov's 'bad parent' list? ....I'd like to see THAT!
