1.5x1.5 is a little too big of a space for a 600.. all tho it will still do very well.. and will yield at least a pound with a decent set up and grown right..

if youve built the room and got the light.. then use what youve got.. it will do well.. how ever a 1000watter would do very well in a space of 1.5x1.5.. and with the right strain should yield almost twice as much..

first timers won't really achieve the weight from the plants they dream of ... simply don't know the strain , only practice makes perfect . i can get a pound with 1 plant in that set up , so 4 plants would be easy .. depending on strain .., method of grow ... i've also learnt from experience ... it's alot easy to get a p .. plus , simply by increasing amount of plants you want to squeeze in .. or risk .

the more the ...

1 plant can produce many lbs

indoors or out

there is many systems of management to achieve this too

i would recomend Screen Of Green [scrog] to max out your yield from 1 plant

and sea of green [sog] for many plants

both systems will produce the yields your looking for

so check dem both

next ting to check is Aquaponics system for your big space

Mistyville,

From all reports it ain't worth the time nor money. If you have a look thru this forum there are some topics specifically about Aerogarden but you'll find it better value to go buy a 400w HPS than Aerogarden and a much better yield.

Hope this helps

As for the topic in question "yeild per plant"

I agree with the comments made so far

I have found the first couple of grows i didn't do so good. I had the idea more plants more pounds ;) (idiot)

I tried to pack the room/area full of clones. some growing faster than others blocking out the required light. This resulted in root death which infected everything. >:(

Over the years I've refined things a bit (as you do). B)

I have a 2mx2m room with 2x600hps and 2x400hps.

I now grow 1 plant under a steel mesh table, this allows me to spread the plant out under the mesh to fill up the room and being one plant its all growing at the same rate so long as the light is evenly distributed. once full i go 12\12 and allow the resulting burst of growth to come up through the mesh.

I strip out what is under the mesh leaving just the stems, then all the goodness is going to the tops. I'm yeilding around 1.5 pd to 2pd :D now but when starting i was lucky to get 12oz in total for the first couple.

Learn from your mistakes and you'll do fine. :D

Be sure to obtain a good TDS meter you'll be thankful you did. Don't be expecting huge yields, if you get a good one lucky you it's a bonus. But expecting it, you'll only be disappointed. I know I did it.

Good luck :D

Be safe & Enjoy ;)

Merl1n :D
