Hi guys & gals,

Have got to the stage that i need a serious fan for odour and cooling , have bought the 250 mm can fan , great fan , terrific suction , HOWEVER<.??

It sounds like a friggin jet airliner, lol : when at full speed??.I will make a couple of boxes with insulation for it . HOW MUCH will this HELP?? lol

Im in a garage partioned off with panda film , anynone have this type of fan ?? and will i be able to use it STEALTHILY??

It will be at end of system with a 1000 mm filter then connected to some 150 mm PVC piping into the rooms

The silencers they sell online , ?? are they helpful ??

Any input would be great , need to sort it out this weekend if possible .

Thanks & Regards

Muckster lol

i had a 250mm centrifugal fan boy was it loud so i know exactly what your going thru i tryed a fan speed controller this will dull the jet/turbine sound a little but centrifugal fans dont like speed controllers the fan tents to stall below a certain point u can either get a smaller fan or use the silencers they dont make them for no reason also its the air moving thats making the sound
