Do I need a magnifine glass or something?

My plants are 5-6 weeks old , harldy look like they wanna grow ,

the leaves on the bottom become yellow and die off , leaves that were on the top now become the bottom leaves and they die off

and this cycle keeps repeating its self

Hi mnzaus,

You answered you own question. Yes, to an untrained eye some but not all are barely visible. I'd suggest a 30x or greater magy glass from your local $2 shop.

It would help others to help you if you could provide more information. The information that can be useful is

1. A picture of the plant/s.

2. Details of what the plant is growing in (ie. compost; type/brand/water/hydrotron/back yard dirt ect)

3. Pot/container size.

4. Lighting - Indoors/outdoors ect.

Just did you know they need food (nutrients) like humans to thrive ?

Another thing plants like is sunshine and or artificial light.

Have you got those basics covered ?

:)

Nitty.

The A/C wont be taking out any oxygen mate. It only recirculates the air in the room and cools that air down whilst removing the moisture from the air. Turning it off and on could be giving the plant a bit of a temperature shock though. Put your temperature dial on the warmest setting for the cooling cycle and just leave it running it should maintain (if it is working correctly) a room temp of around 20oc to 24oc. It also saves electricity if left running.

Do all the leaves that die turn completely yellow? Or what other colours do the turn as well.
