I bought a new "ready to grow " ballast from sun systems on ebay for 120 including shipping(1000w hps).It didnt come with a wiring diagram so i called sun system and the tech guy sat on the phone and talked me through the wiring which took literally less the ten minutes.it fired right up.he also told me how to make a switchable ballast which is also very easy.$120 and all you need is a housing!!DO IT!!! fOR THE RECORD HE SAID 1000W SWITCHABLE BALLAST NO PROBLEM,STAY AWAY FROM 400W SWITCHABLE(DIFFERENT VOLTAGE OR SOMETHING,A LITTLE TECHNACALE)
