how long for clone to show sex?

iv got 1 month old nl x ak47 clones there still only 4" but well rooted.iv been flowereing for 10 days and no sign of sex.when will i see hairs.will only 7 hours of LIGHT effect flowering and will to small of plant not show hairs?first time cloner could use some help.

I am not assuming you did not clone for males and you think, or were told that the clones are female.

 

Budding up whether male or female would depend on the maturity of the donor plant, as would sex.

 

1. You would expect to see sex in 7-14days approx after going to 12/12 (either male or female - Dependant on donor maturity)

 

2. 7 hours of light is often used in clone sexing or a plant from seed. Over time it may speed the process up (showing sex) butt the whole grow mean less light to your plants = less bud.

 

 

Generally people can go as early as 4 weeks after taking a clone. This being a recovery or establishment period & to increase yield.

 

Others who know the sex & maturity of the donor may go 12/12 as soon as rooted with the obvious reduction in plant size - hence yield.

it is not age that determine sex

it is the number of hrs of darkness that allow the plant to flower

the size of your grow space is what will determine the length your veg period or when to flower????????

so as soon as the plant fill the square meter floor grow space with about 2/3 more clear height space for the budz to grow up and develop into in the next 9wks of bloom
