swapping lights

hey all just havin some trouble figuring out the hole swapping lights thing you see yesterday i went and got a new light just a 400 hps to put my to plants under and well what can i say she didnt like it but i dont no weather its because iv kept her under crappy grolux tubes for to long. so what i want to no is when raising seeds under floros how long b4 u should introduce them to h.i.d lighting because i just got some blueberry seeds and i really dont want to fuck em.

I would put them under the HID as soon as they sprout, just maybe start off at two feet and go no closer than one foot.

 

Do you have good ventilation? It's not as necessary for flouros, but as HID's create a lot of heat they need good ventilation.

yeh soz about not havn pics dont have a camera its a small gro space like 5 foot high by 3 foot long and 2 wide its got intake out take but i have this oter plant thats like 2 months old and not even a foot high the first month it was in soil then i put it into hydro but its only bin used to like 70 watts of light i put the 400 in yesterday a bit over a foot higher then it and with in minutes she just stared curling but the thing is the grow room has bin hotter than wot it was when the 400 was turned on. blue berry is in there to but its only like 3 day old and i kept the single tube floro over it when the 4oo was turned on so nuthin realy happend to it so shood i just not worry bout the older crap plant and just focus on koota blueberry and wack the 400 in again and get her used to it while shes still young???????????

Yeah maybe just concentrate on the blueberry, I have seedlings at the moment about three feet from a 600W and I think they could go closer.

yeh i might do that ay sounds like a plan focus on the blueberry and chuck the 400 back in
