Question about tipping / topping plant

My plants are about 3 maybe 3 amd a half weeks old right now ,

im wondering how long can i wait till topping them

 

Its kinda early i know but the internodes are so close together some of the bottom leaves on the plant are dieing off

 

I was wondering if I should top it now to give the plant a bit more light down below

the plant will strech out dont stress if u tip now u will be relying on the little branches that wouldnt normally make it to turn into your main cola's i would wait atlease untill there 10-12inchs before tipping so your not replying on the shittiest little branches to produce big buds

right now they are 3 and a half too 4 inchs tall is it too early?

if its only a mother plant go for it just make sure u have atlease 3 nodes

I top my plants # 4 weeks then let them recover for another 3 weeks he top a second time. The second topping make sure you do all the grow tips else it will go out of shape.

Do you top in flowering or vegging stage?

toping in flower will result in an decreased yield

if i tip i like to get a good 10-14 days of recovery before flowering
