Outdoor Hydro

Recommended Posts

Hi All, new to the forum, ive set up a small outdoor hydro setup which gets about 80% of daily sunlight,

just wondering if anyone has any tips for me,

i grew these from seed in dirt, and put them into hydro at 4 weeks old(2" tall)

do you think they will survive, and any tips on getting them nice and healthy and budding before winter and sorry about the quality of pics, mobile phone is crap!

ps, im about 250km south of perth

so how old are they now?

I have to say, I dont know if its lack of quality light or they are being stunned by another factor, maybe over watering.

Cause they are some pretty small 5 week old plants

This was my last crop after 20 days from seed post-13422-1235256388_thumb.jpg

What nutriance do you mix with your water. Whats your EC and PH readings?

I like your thinking evilboof. but would be to start with with more established seedlings as you would already know. ITs possible to lengthen the veg time too in spite of the decreasing daylight hours. Just hang a small fluro over the plant at night on a timer and you can delay the onset of flower. My mate done this with excelent results. Any way i hope one or two of them take off for you :uhhuh:

yes ourdoor rulez

hydroponics will work irey outdoors

i love to make a small plastic hot house over them

and even outdoor scrog works the same as indoor

excellent

i get 10oz per m2 outdoors

so dont waist you time with crappy geens

i have been dreaming of hydro in the ground

i havent got it to reality yet

yet i feel it is possible to do away with pots or containers

and use a hydro potting medium as a raised garden bed

running a drip feed, drain to waist ,type system

using scrog and enclosing the budz in a mini plastic hothouse

how ever

because of the season and the age of your plants

imo

i would

veg indoor and bloom outdoor

irey guidance
