Where to buy high end "Australian Style" Bongs?

Recommended Posts

Been looking online at different bong makers but they all seem to do american style bongs with a glass pipe and werid glass cone piece with no 'shotty'.

Im looking for a online bong retailer that makes bongs with a 'Shotty' (hole in the main chamber of the bong) and is equipped for australian style pipes/cone pieces.

Basically what Off Ya Tree used to retail before they were majorly shut down.

Im talking big bongs here, color changing or multi chamber, nothing small ;p .

Any advice appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by having anything against high end billys, the american style is just not my cup of tea. (Guessing you like the glass stem/cone piece combo with no shotty)

The bongs ive found online dont seem to have a 'shotty' on them and they are also harder to clean and 'stoke' due to the cone piece and stem being a single object. Oh and their also harder to pack then just taking out a small cone piece ;D

//mod: might want to move this to cannabis paraphernalia forum, didnt know it existed when i posted this :uhhuh:

Heya Dandy. Nope, I'm with you. I'd hate to have a one piece cone and stem! How damn annoying!

How you meant to clear your billy with no carb hole AND no ability to remove the cone? That's ridiculous!

I've never seen one like that though. Thanks for the heads up, I'll avoid them like the plague :uhhuh:!

As to glass on glass - that's actually the 'everywhere else except Australia' style. Most of the glass factories are located in Europe. Roor for example, is a German firm. They do have a factory in the states, but like you said, they produce inferior quality billys.

I could never smoke out of a metal cone or stem. I don't like the metallic taste nor do I appreciate the health dangers. Glass all the way for me - except gimme a separate cone and stem. OMG! How ridiculous. Whoever invented that should be shot.

Peace.

Hey there Dandy have a look see at the bongs that are sold through here at ozstoners, i have the gripper that is for sale through bongs and things and it a great bong, it made from pryex with no glass stem and cone, there is a link at the bottom of my post click on that and it will take u to the shop.

And most of the bongs there are good ones imo and have shotties as well...

Using one of their old style ones now that I bought pre-bong prohibition.

Its a nice bong im just bored of it to be honest, has that really thick 6mm? pyrex through it and stands at 16" inches tall.

Checked out our sponsor "Bongs N Things" and they seem to have the kind im after, going to order a nice second chamber to add onto the front of my current bong from there. http://www.bongsnthings.com/shop/product_r...mp;reviews_id=6

Once I save up a bit more money I think I might go a euro glass one and get a 'glassey' mate to just melt a 'shotty' in the back so my other australian friends dont --FREAK OUT-- at the idea of lifting up the cone/pipe piece during their cones.

// In my experience anyway(they probably dont work liek this but--) if you lift an australian cone piece out of a bong mid-cone(generally happens by accident while your 'Stoking' when the stoker gets stuck in there) you get a horrible sudden rush of hot smoke hitting the back of your lungs/throat that is anything but pleasent.

/\ Thats what scares my aussie mates of the american designs(although im sure most of the high quality ones are a smooth smoke if you use the correct technique when you pull out the Cone-Pipe Combo)
