Tasmanian sent kilo of cannabis as Christmas present, court hears

A TASMANIAN man sent a kilo of cannabis as a Christmas present for his stepdaughters, a court heard today.

 

David John Rhodes of Lady Barron, Flinders Island has pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking on December 1-2, 2005, in the Launceston Supreme Court today, The Mercury reports.

 

Crown prosecutor Virginia Jones said Mr Rhodes had organised that a parcel be flown from Whitemark on Flinders Island to Launceston in Tasmania's north.

 

However, the plot was uncovered when an Airlines of Tasmania staff member at Whitemark rang police because the parcel smelt of cannabis.

If it were average choof it would last me over 3years. If it were nice stuff like I have atm it would be closer to 6years worth.

Thats vaporising which im finding to be more efficient for me, I started around 6months ago[ive been using ganja non stop for touch over 20years]

 

 

Its a bugger it got found but really, I doubt it was for personal use by the stepdaughters as the xmas present idea makes out.

Intended as a bit of quick easy money for the girls so they can then spend it on what they like, personally, I think if your in it for profit and ya get done...well thats the risk you take.

 

I bet the person with the keen nose on flinders pocketed a nice sample

Turns out the fella was on bail for a previous bust when he got done sending this lot....sheesh

 

Wanted to make some money instead of destroying it they quoted him in todays paper. Apparently from the same crop.
