what is the best soil

we're not looking to spend an arm and a leg but we bought some soil that was 100% natural but it ended up being like a mixture of dirt and woodchips kinda thing. we're looking for pretty much just plain regular soil, no nutrients or anything because we're adding it all in the water, anybody got any ideas???

Not sure what you mean by adding it all in the water?

 

Some budget potting mix is fine for outside or inside with liquid nutes at half strengths etc

 

I use 50/50 coco and potting mix for my inside grow and things are tearing along

 

There isn't really such a thing as plain regular soil with no nutrients unless you use sand which is probably part of an ancient dune system.Which is again not really soil

 

If you want soil as your grow medium and you want to use nutrients in a bottle (hydro/coco/organic-powerfeed,seasol) to grow it then just go with the cheap soil/potting mix which is probably what you bought? it shouldn't have any ozmocote or whatever added as it's cheaper not to add it hence why it's cheap in most cases.

Use what you got but add some mushroom compost and perlite and your cruzn.
