onya gazza mate . going thru my options now bro. gotta decide fast. in a 2 storey house so gettin on top of the growroom is impossible. fan up in the hole might work, though i think the hole maybe to big for the fan

screw up a sheet of plywood and cut a hole the right size to fit your fan

good idea gazza. i have managed to pull the fan rite up into the corner. its given me all but the last six inches of vert space left. the ducting is kinked really tight, i reckon the fan would be working a lot harder to suck air. although its not making any more noise from restriction and temps are virtually unaffected so far. lights have been off though, so will have to wait till later to see how it goes. if it gets too hot and/or the stretch continues and i need that last six inches of space, i will be using plywood as suggested. notice the burnt growing tip. going back to the 400w might be an option also? even though the temp increase of the 600w was minimal. only one tip is burnt this bad. other damage sustained was minor heat burn on some leaves. also thanks for the tip about the cable gazza. gotta get sum cable ties and clips and use its full length. hmm not nice to see a burnt tip more than likely the plants will finish up around where your lamp is now so u need to do something maybe look into a cool tube?

i know, burnt tips are not cool. yeah mate i have thought about a cooltube, but just dont have the coin for one at the moment unfortunately. on a more positive note, 3 of the big bitches clones have rooted and one even has a root coming out the surface of the rockwool. weird? whats the best way to harden em up? and i have to veg these as slowly as poss, coz i have to wait until this current grow is finished. whats my best option there? i dont want them to stretch, just wanna veg em slow. i can afford a couple of grow tubes, and i still have a 50w cfl.i only have the small cloning area to house the babys. they rooted in 15-16 days in the larger cubes. im glad to see the cloning technique worked a treat what i would do is decide if u wanna keep all the clones or just keep 1 as a mother plant and when its time clone her a few weeks before the clones will be needed in the main grow room if u go this option plant the single clone in a small pot filled with coco u will ideally want the mother plant to be root bound this will slow down the growing process and your 50w CFL will be ideal to keep the mother plant alive or u could use the fluro tube batten lights what ever works for you altho they will strech a little with the fluro batten light as its really weak light as for hardening off the clones i just wait untill i have about 15-20 roots coming out the bottom than i just take off the dome cover and pot them up so no need for hardening them off as they have plenty of roots to survive if u do wanna harden them off slowly open the vents a little each day leaving them open more and more over a few days if the clones wilt (leaves droop) than close up the vents and continue to mist them than try again a few days later but i dont think it will be needed as u have large rockwool cubes and there showing roots

Go wider bro then if you can and soon as possible that should see ya out till the end of flowering the aero girl (it is indica or more indy dom yea?) and you'll have more space then for the satty.

 

Wow in that pic in the middle at the top they certainly look droopy, it;s nite time an they sleeping so it;s natural but that looks pretty full on. Must need a good rest after the flogging your giving em

 

Can cut that burnt tip off too if you want rather than waste energy on it although it will still bud up.

thanks chato for ur advice once again. i will be repotting her in a slightly taller and wider pot in perlite, only coz thats what shes always been in. gonna do this asap but today didnt have time to find a suitable pot, hopefully tomorrow. also, im a bit sketchy on this transplant coz of it being the only time ive ever done it with a plant thats this large and is 3 weeks into flower. but i will def give it a crack. yeah the aero bitch is an indica im pretty sure, and while it is still growing in height and throwing out new growing tips and branches, its buds are not as mature as the sattys who's not really getting taller and seems to be just fattening up. lots of her branches below the canopy are not devoloping fast though coz their starved of light from the light hungry aero bitch who is totally taking over all the the space in the drobe. so giving the satty room seems the smart thing to do as you suggested. hopefully i will be able to flower the aero bitch and leave the satty in the drobe with all the space she needs to really finish strongly for harvest. coupla pics of the satty. sorry bout the quality, def gotta work on my camera skills.
