first indoor grow aeroponics

Withholding period is how long before it's safe for consumption/smoking but considering you use it at the start of the flower and you probably won't need or want to smoke the male it won't be an issue.

Mate you'll be sweet with what your doing although i know the temptation to yank the fucker would be huge but time is on your side, if cutting it back an the spray don't work you can always rip it. Start of flower is important time an growth is rapid so not stressing it during the first few weeks by ripping roots apart will only work in your favour.

Try an take some pics with the light off bro and are only the tips of the uppermost leaves curling?

peace

ay chato. yeah mate its hard to resist rippin' him, but im not gonna put that sorta stress on the roots of the female, just like you said. and im def not gonna smoke him, so i will give the spray a crack. first dose in the morning as soon as the lights go out. thats when i will def get some decent pics of the grow and my probs when the light goes off. the male is back left in the drobe. skinny fucker now though. the 2 females well the one in perlite (front left) is doin nicely, no probs there but the big bitch well.....yeah some top leaves are curled, a few yellow stained leaves here and there but they look healthy. startin to lose a fair bit of foliage like leaves on opposing sides of growing tips down at they very base of the plant. i thought starved of light at first, but if so then they wouldnt die, they would just be skinny and pale? every leaf tip on the entire plant has burn only on the very tip? cant be cf coz thats runnin at 18cf although i have been having troubles with keeping ph stable ever since i started bloom nutes. maybe its just the effects of that coming thru? ive got the ph sorted now though. and my last problem is purple stems in a few areas, and also on some leaf stems? mainly its just on one side of the affected stem. im at day 6 of bloom. will provide pics of all ailments in the morn when the light goes off. :)

well ive had the worst day since i commenced growing. :) it all started early this morning. i got up before the light went off to do the weekly nute change and give em a flush, inspect the male, and the back off the plants where i cant usually get to and get rid of any dead foliage and just general upkeep. this is where i fucked up big time. :) its my own fault, but also its coz of inexperience. so anyway what i have to do when i do a flush and nute change is take the grow chamber off the top of the res and remove it from the drobe and sit it on milk crates. then i can move around the plants completely and also get the res out and clean it before mixing the new nutes into it and placing it back in the drobe, then i sit the plant chamber back on the res and connect the pump. while im preparing the fresh nutes the plants are getting a good flush with plain water. if you have been following this topic you will know that about a week ago i did the same routine and the big bitch plant layed down. well it has grown so much in a week that when i removed it from the drobe it couldnt support its own weight and layed riiiite down. the walls of the drobe have been supporting its vertical growth and weight. i freaked right out and abandoned the flush, rinsed out the res and quickly did the nutes. i put her back in and it just looks fucked. just flopped over everywhere. i have left them to another 12 light cycle to see if she starts to stand up by herself again. i have done my best to tie up any really heavy branches. but it really is a mess. :) i know i must modify my system to eliminate the need to remove the plants from the room, im onto it. lesson learnt, i will never do it again but whats done is done and my question is will my girl perk back up? how much stress could i have possibly caused her? and will this extend flowering time? im one week into bloom. any advice or suggestions would be great coz im ready give myself an uppercut. thanks heaps. heres how they looked before my brain fade. post-25744-1235034136_thumb.jpg

Except for a little bit of light burn and heat stress they look pretty good...

They stood up last time so more than likely they will again. I always tell peeps about bending branches in veg to strengthen em up and your a good case in point. Explosive growth of aero you really need it.

As for ya flushing an easy short term fix is a real real small water pump in the res, the real small pumps only draw water from underneath so will drain almost all the water.

Best of luck and dont stress too much bro :)

thanks for the confidence boost chato. :) and taking the time to check out my probs. yep, ive got a tiny 101 pump that sucks from the bottom, i will rig it up for the remainder of this grow. :) chato, what do you do about the small amount of old nutes left in the root chamber thats below the drains? i used to tilt it when they were smaller, but obviously thats not an option now. because its only a litre or so would it affect the fresh nutes? ive also put up a couple more pics of my origanal probs. the leaves and new shoots at the base of the female have been steadily curling and dying, basically since i started the bloom nutes? is this just a natural dying off? i dunno coz even new growng tips and shoots at the base are slowly goin. my ph is 5.5-6 and im running with 18-20cf. no additives as yet. the leaves are not going crunchy, just goin grey and limp and dead. starved of light? i dont know mate. im trying not to stress. :) post-25744-1235045243_thumb.jpg
