first indoor grow aeroponics

I know for sure ph down doesn;t have a long life span, i don't use much ph up but i can only assume the same so first thing i;d do is replace it.

Secondly it's most definitely not a result of you looking at the rootzone unless you ran around the room with it, pissed on it, or did something absolutely crazy. I take pics of my rootporn all the time in dwc an have done so in aero as well, exposure has never harmed mine....

Intensity of light dropping should not cause that drooping either, esp not that quickly. If your roots are choking or drowning you'll see root rot an browning first for sure, if you have decent aeration an water temps i can't see that being the problem either.

Leaves that don't snap easy off the steam an tear or rip is an instant indicator of lack of water in the plant, a nice clean break with a little bit of pressure is what you want, shedding where they pretty much fall off in your touch is not cool and an obvious indicator something is amiss and can be a number of things.

peace

thanks heaps for your detailed reply chato  , sorry for delay posting a thankyou mate, got family near the bushfires. all safe now but. :/ anyway that ph up has been disposed of, dont trust it. also matey i think i over exaggerated when my plants went limp. was just stressin and frustrated and wasnt havin a good day. :/ also after pruning heaps of leaves, some shade/fan leaves and any dead, dying or yellow light starved foliage from the base of the plants i have discovered that only 1 or 2 leaves fell off when i touched them. when i broke a leaf stem it "snapped" with a nice clean break. the site of the cut was also oozing that clear fluid the plant heals itself with. so i think that it just shed those leaves naturally. my res temps are constant 25-26c and i have a large airstone in res. oxyplus is used reg also, but gonna stop usin it. as for my dramas with wildly erratic ph swings and readings at the initial switch to bloom nutes, it has finally stabilised and seems to be sweet. maybe the flush and change to bloom nutes caused the extreme ph swings? >:( good as gold now anyway. :peace: also conditions in the drobe has been pretty stable and doesnt change much. see pic of hygrometer. more update pics tonight. :disguise: post-25744-1234602802_thumb.jpg

ay. stressful times. male in the aerogrow. cant remove him coz roots are interwined with healthy female [see root pic]. dying male roots will infect her roots. impossible to remove all dead and dying roots. got no choice but to strip him and cut him back and attack any male flowers with budwise blast or a blade. i cut his crown and a few branches off this morning, gonna go in tonight again when its light and only leave him with a few leaves and branches for life support. i know theres bio bugs and that, but im not sure ive got the growing experience yet for that sorta stuff. ;) have got microbial and oxyplus, and i dont think you can use these together. hope this works...... oh yeah, on a good note its been 6 days and all 7 clones are still alive. post-25744-1234857691_thumb.jpg the top crown off the male.

ay all. just an update on the situation. males been pruned riiiiiite back, all tips removed and left with mainly leaves. got budwise blast at the ready, and i will use it at first sight of a male flower. the idea is just to keep him alive and give the 2 females room to move. i really have no idea if my pruning methods will work. i dont want to kill him. the big girl has really got larger since i started bloom 6 days ago. as has the perlite bitch. the only other prob that have started to pop up are a yellow type fungus or mould on the base of the big girls stem and starting to climb slowly up one branch? anyway ill tuff it out and try and find out what it is. his is how they looked 3 days ago. more pics to come. post-25744-1234932733_thumb.jpg
