And he(Dillion) urges parents to warn their children about the legal consequences of using drugs. "New policing strategies … have resulted in more young people … being prosecuted for drug offences. Let your child know how being caught using drugs will affect the rest of their life." In other words, tough policing is a deterrent.

i do know after being busted myself as a youngster with a room full of Cannabis(1st offence 18mths) ive had to carry around that druggie record for the last 15 years and its basically impeded my job prospect so severely that i got to a point where i said #*% you ... i made a mistake (getting caught), so if society wants to brand me a crim and lock me up , then i will act the part ...

and I became a commercial grower ...

the moral for me was that the most harmful repercussion of growing and using Cannabis was the crimminal record i carry ...
