"sodium kit "?? Not sure what your saying here.

How to use a light. The distance from the 'canopy' (top of plant) can be estimated by a simple test.

1) put your hand under the light palm up at the level of the canopy.

2) if your hand dos't burn (feel very hot) then it is ok - make sure the light is fully on.

also what area can it work with??

This dsepends on the height of your light and the "attenuation" or fall off of the light. As a general rule more wattage of light will

be able to cover more squate feet. I am not sure of what a 250w covers.

if i use both the hid an some 2700k cfl's doring flowering will it increase my harvest??

I am uncertain of the light you have but ome followingr infeormation may clea3r this up.

1) sodium light is good for flowing and HID light is good fro veging. The difference is in the lights spectrum produuced. Increased WHITE/RED (needed in flower) is produces by HPS (High Pressure Sodium) where as more WHITE/ BLUE is produced by HID lightingr and is more for veg stage.

I hope this assits you.

:peace:

Nitty.
