whats the % of seeds that would be female from 2 strains

i got these free Wanda seeds, put all in. lost 7, mostly bugs. still got 1 seed left, other 2 both males. now i got another strain dunno what type but its a heady/up high stone. got 5 females of them, can spare one.

 

so just want to know what % of seeds i'dd be looking at that would be female . when i stick em together ?

Given that you can't identify female from male seeds until they pop and achieve maturity status and the Laws on genetics I'd say 50/50. Sure last season I selected about 15 beans from storeage and most (all but 1) were Female then this season 4:1 (25%) ratio males to females.

 

I stopped trying to figure out sex before maturity many years ago.

 

It's a lucky dip that conforms to the selection 'without replacement' method of probability - (statistics 101).
