With that statement everyone that jaywalks is a criminal, everyone that doesn't pick up after their dog is a criminal, running a red light. Doing something illegal might make you a criminal but your just joining in with all the other criminals in the world. Australia adores criminals, Underbelly is a recent example, Ned Kelly was a murderer and a bank robber, Eureka stockade. Sounds like you make being a criminal out to be a bad thing. I for one reckon its part of being Australian

You are correct. We are all crims. What pisses me off is that because I enjoy a toke from a bloody plant, I am considered a criminal. F that.

There are many hazy parts of the law, this an example of one of them. The law has faults.

I think about how in Amsterdam it's still legal due to it being it really should be legal and it is in Amsterdam. So basically us Australians who smoke marijuana aren't doing anything wrong at all.

 

Its just our government that has made the stupid rule to make marijuana illegal.

 

I will never quit smoking marijuana and if i get caught smoking marijuana and have to go for jail for it in Australia or pay a big fine so be it, I will not let my freedom to smoke marijuana be stopped just because the government has banned marijuana.

 

In my life i don't have a criminal record, i live happy, have many friends, have a good social life, i own my own house, i have a good job, i eat well, sleep well and i smoke marijuana and marijuana makes me really happy with all good in my life.

 

So what i say is no i am not a criminal for smoking marijuana.
