sounds insightful but far from the truth....just because you use something thats illegal doesn't make you a criminal....

Don't mistake me. I love my pot. I adore it. And I'm PROUD of being a smoker.

 

Yet despite that, I am a criminal. I am a criminal for smoking a damn unadulterated plant.

 

Just denying it don't make it so.

There is some truth in it really.

 

If they made tobacco illegal, any one smoking, growing or dealing it would technically be a criminal because one would be committing a crime...

 

It really sucks.

you can do illegal things and not be a criminal...you arent a criminal until you have been convicted of a CRIME

 

 

 

otherwise everyone would be a criminal ...Jaywalking, littering, watchin downloaded videos, burning cd's etc

We're only criminals if we get caught?

 

Let's follow that to it's natural conclusion:

 

I go out on a killing spree. I'm not caught. Therefore I mustn't be a criminal

 

(Not saying we're murderers - we just smoke a bloody herb - yet still it's illegal).

 

I'm just trying to get my head around that.

Now this is interesting. My trusty oxford defines a criminal as:

 

a person guilty of a crime.

 

But it doesn't say whether it's found guilty by a caught or just guilty by way of the fact you did it.

 

All I can say is that sounds like we're in limbo....

You must have to be caught/convicted to be classed as a criminial! Politicians can run around incriminating them selfs by admiting to smoking weed.

 

So I guess the laws are there and the police and courts decide if your a criminial or not. Usually they decide on the way you look or if your well of.
