My advice on this one is to try before you buy :(

See if ya can get your hands on some buds grown with a PGR (if you buy buds you have probably had some already, the really hard stuff with heaps of hairs but no trichs, then decide whether or not to use one.

Personally I cant stand what PGR's do to bud (all for a bit more weight ^_^ ) but some people dont mind it.

There are times when they are handy (sati's indoors being one), minimal doses early in flower don't seem to effect flavour/strength so much.

Thats just my experience from smoking other peoples stuff, never use them myself, dont see the need really.

:peace:

I find it useful outdoors up here on the odd ocasion. If I get a sativa leaning pheno that decides it wants to reveg or stretch excessivley(usually October - December) to the point of scewing up it's very handy.I cant usually tell by week 2-3 what the plant wants to do on its own and hit it then. It Turns having to trash a plant into getting a good yield with reasonable quality.
