More than $3 million worth of drugs has been seized from a property on the New South Wales north coast.

Police from the Tweed-Byron command raided the property on Eviron Road, Condong, last Friday, and are looking for two men who are connected with the property.

They say they found more than 1,500 cannabis plants in an elaborate, hydroponic set up, with a street value of more than $3 million.

There was also cannabis leaf worth more than $65,000.

Police are looking for two men who have not been seen by family or friends since visiting the property the day before the raid.

Strike Force Danbury has been set up to investigate the discovery of the drugs and the disappearance of the men.

What a shame state governments do not have licencing systems in place for the high THC strains.

Maybe that is not too far away!!!

There is a market out there which is NOT going away.

Rather than destroy the cannabis at substantial costs to the taxpayer, court costs, imprisonment etc the cannabis could have been made available to consenting medical cannabis patients and other consenting adults.

The state government could have recieved say ... a 10% GST (ganja sales tax)

There are simple solutions to what people have made complex problems
