Cutting Mediums ?

Ok , I usually use Rockwool Cubes ,, but dont have any at the moment . What alternatives do you fellas use ?

I love my jiffy pellets. But they are more for a soil based grow, what with being coco or peat or something of that nature.

 

You could always make a bubble cloner. I don't have the link right now but it's easy enough to find.

 

I'm currently gathering the bits to make one myself. I've been a bit slack otherwise it would have been put together by now.

Hey closet Ive had good success with perlite, perlite/vermiculite, vermiculite and coco. They are all good. I use a tupperware container filled to three inches with coco etc. The lid stays on for 1.5 weeks and then is taken off and light nutes added ec-0.2-4. For light is a 28w 5000k cfl from bunnings on a timer, sitting around a foot above the clones. Works for me

ne thing works but there is no substitute, rockwool is by far the best I know of. Even if you reuse it just might want to sterilize with heat first.....But I don't
