Frustrated , with yields !

Recommended Posts

yo peeps...throw my bit in for what its worth

Mate..number one..progressively pot up into a bigger pot..i'd suggest a minimum of 30lt for one plant..i use 50lt pots..double inserted..

Go scrog....light penetration of a 400watter is no more than say 350mm..at that point PAR (photosynthetically available radiation..the shit that makes em grow) is effectively non-existent..and keep the light no higher than say 400mm from the tops of the plants....

Understand...just my input from my own experience....

Also..the yellowing in the centre of your growing tips in the pics...if the lights weren't too close I'd suggest a slight addition of straight N to your nute mix..available N is consumed and broken down very quickly

hope that helps slightly

I got 8oz off my one plant in a very similar space you're growing in, in fact a bit smaller.

First of all you need a new bulb, yours is one year old, it's useless mate. Throw it out and buy a new one ASAP.

How is it setup inside, i'd have the light hanging in the middle with the four plants underneath, i'm assuming it is set up like this though.

Don't go cutting the smaller buds and branches off the bottom, it shouldn't make much of a difference. If the plant is getting enough nutes it is fine.

Are you using flower nutrients?

A 10 litre pot should be sufficient for a rooted clone gone straight in to flower, it's what i use.

It is set up as you said and yes I am using Dutch Fest Nutes in Grow and Bloom :)

But I have to disagree with you about getting rid of the lower stuff , as it sucks up nutes and takes away from the tops . This is why , in vineyards , they de-sucker , IE take EVERYTHING off below the main two branches that are grown on the wire .

I think I would rather a few main heads which will reach full potential , rather than a lot of spindly useless light weight stuff .

Thanks for your input :kingnerd:

I have grew the GWS it isent a great yielder from what i can remember.

Off 1 400w with 2 plants i can get close to 12 ouncers but on the average i will get around 4 ouncers a plant.

Try a diffrent strain as with my last grow i used a 250w and i ended up with 4 ouncers off 2 small plants...

The grow i got 12 ounce from was celtic stone in a 2 door robe with a 400w the plants were about 3-4 foot tall when harvested em.

With the the 250w the plants were only 2 foot tall, they were celtic berry.

The NL and BB i havent done but i have the WW and it will do better than the GWS...
