Frustrated , with yields !

Recommended Posts

Ok , I have grown for awhile , I just cant seem to get a decent yield like others on here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I went from a wardrobe where I got 3 oz , to a space that was at least as twice as large ,, STILL got 3 OZ !!!!!!!!! I went to a LST method and still got 3 oz !!!!!!!!!!! I had heaps of little shit underneath which I think sucked the life out of the top buds , so the next LST grow I trimmed some of the understuff off ,, still got 3-4oz !!!!!!!!!!!1 I am talking 4 plants here !

How much shit do I trim off the bottom ? How far does the light penetrate ? I am using a 400 HPS .

I will take some pics of this grow and hopefully someone will show me how much to trim off the bottom :) I find it hard to cut too much off , maybe thats my problem .

I am trying to grow 6-8 buds per arm on a 4-6 armed plant ,, but I think I am still leaving too much on the underneath , but I do that because I want more bud , but I am thinking that MAYBE the light isnt getting to the underneath stuff . Each bud /branch is about 8inches long BEFORE I put them into head .

Pics will follow .

you want bigger yeild, well get another 400w minimum and your yeild will dramatically increase ... all else being equal and with what youve described

if you want substatally bigger yeild without more watts then i dunno how ... except maybe different strain

pics will give us even greater understanding too :)

If the variables don't improve the yield it's time to tweak the constants; which in your case is light.

This is what I did to the branch in the first pic , to let more light in . Should I do this to the whole plant ? It hurts to cut so much off my baby .
