Need Ideas For This Box

Recommended Posts

ok my used cabinet just arrived today. a few scratches but other than that its all good.

i fixed my duel 250watt frame to the top and then stopped to ponder how im going to cool down this little space.

anyone with any ideas please feel free to throw them in. i have no idea what type of fan im going to have to purchase.

just point me in the right direction. i want something that can bolt onto the side something small. if it dosnt attach a carbon filter its alright, i can do home mods.

Here is what it looks like with my current fan and filter. as u can see its just over sized !

I have no intentions of using these in this grow.

i think u would need to have the filter and fan outside the area

well if u where to retain the original set up

id box the fan to reduce noise.

id make the cabnet air tight and have an exhaust outlet, maybe coupled with a flange for connecting the ducting

ud have to push the air threw the filter its not impossible and can be done

with the proper research and plans u can use wat u have u there to your advantage,not having to purchase a new fan filter set up.sorry i dont have the plans for the build but im sure if u search u will find similar set ups to wat im describing..

good luck

cheers

i was thinking of attaching the white fan to the inside wall with a 1cm gasket to stop vibrations, just a straight vent to the outside atmosphere until the smell of buds comes thru. then i will retro-fit a small carbon filter to cope with the fans low air pushing ability's. at the end of the day i dont want to see any ducting or filters just sticking off the side of the cabinet, im looking for a non-suss alternative.

the cabinet is light tight but not air tight (so suction from exhaust can create inertial air currents flowing in) i might try for a scrog setup. gills done a cracker scrog recently.

yo bro....

one cubic foot = approx. .3 cubic metres..

therefore, to convert from cubic feet to cubic metres, times cubic feet figure by 1.3

or...

A x B = C

where A = cubic feet measurement, B = 1.3 and C = converted figure

reverse equation to convert cubic metres to cubic feet

i.e.

A / B = C

A = cubic metre figure

/ = division

B= 0.3

C= converted figure

hope this helps
