Should Seeds be Dried ?

Ok , I have just got some seeds off my plants ,, should I do anything special with them , or can I take them right off the live plant and put them into bags ?

Drying them a bit won't hurt, but they should be pretty dry straight off the plant.

For best results dry them for 2 weeks or so and then store them in the cripser of your refrigerator for another two weeks.

When you take them out they will think winter is over and get ready to start germinating.

yeah.. seeds are already to go straight from the plant.. iv noticed a few seed runs ive done and seeds have dropped into the pot and started growing straight away...

 

for storage i just keep them in a tub in a dry cool place..

 

never refrigerate seeds.. and especially dont freeze them.. if the strain is acclimatized to the colder regions of the planet then yes.. you may have to refrigerate when you want to germinate them.. but really.. its highly unlikely that you will need to
