yep, most definately NL, what I believe to have been number five ie. NL#5 is what I believe I was growing and it was most definatly the best I've used for pain.

However, any good smoke will do the job. As far as I know, and I've done asmuch looking into it as I can, there is no alpha or beta blockers that actually desensitise the pain. Nothing that actually fills the pain/opiate receptors in the brain to turn the pain "off".

This is as far as I know, and I've contacted everyone I can think of to try to get serious scientific litrature on the subject. If I'm wrong, then it's very ground breaking, very recent news.

Basically, good smoke gives u a good lift, a good laugh, helping to enjoy good company, and that means everything's just well...good. I tend to just stop focussing on the pain for the period of the high, which is somthing that is almost impossible to do sometimes, and so smoke whatever rings ya bells. The Indicas are reknown for their ability for pain, simply becuse they're very much the kind of stone a crippled, pain ridden person can enjoy, laying down. Smoking sativa can sometimes cause a tad of anxiety if uhave nothing to do. I don't mean axiety as in paranoia, bad anxiety, just that "I wish I could do something" kinda feeling, and a person that lives in pain has that thought in their mind often enough, without creating it anew.

So sometimes sativas can exaserbate the feeling of wanting to do more than ya capable, and that's not good. Indicas are a more "content" stone, where-by kicking back, listening to music, talking with friends or wacthing the tele, are more the kind of pursuits that ya capable of, and enjoy more, and there-by hopefully, loose trackof that rotten pain.

On the other hand, my first choice in all grass is c99. And so that blows that out of the water in one regard, but reaserts what I mean in general. Smoke whatever turns you on, and makes you feel good. it's distraction you need. otherwise, use oxycontin if you can get it. Opiates are still the best outright pain killer, and there is simply nothing in the smoko world to challenge them. but ehy're deadly addictive, and take it from me, can become a world unto themselves of addiction, and supply. Not something to be happy about.

cheers
