hey PROZAC, can't comment on the pool tester because I don't have any experience with them. Its quite possible the PH of your water is 8. Mine is 8.5-9 depending, and I had a lot of problems with my grow until I started adjusting PH down to 6.5

 

In terms of light the general thinking is that MH is best for veg and HPS is best for flowering, although either could be used for the entire grow and give much better results than fluoros. You can also get combination MH/HPS bulbs like the Phillips Son-T-Agro which would be the best choice if you want to use one light for veg & flower.

has anyone ever bought a light or anything from underlights hydroponics cause they got a son t agro 600w for 90 bucks is that a good price?seems like it if anyone wants the site adress pm me cause I'm gettin fukin tired of typin here.catchya

hey man arte you giving them very regular nutrients?

Ph should be about the 5.5 mark...one point side of that is ok........

Fluros...maybe for clones but not for growing...go the 400 hps...about 170 bux brand new.......

if u can get a new 600 watt for 90$ then go for it

 

ifs it now new then u have all the hassles of not knowing how old the bulb is etc...and when u replace it its going to cost you about 70$ anyhow........
