I've been growing for like 1 month now (indoors) mabye abit more and the biggest I've got is about 12cm with 6 sets of leaves and judging by your pics of 1 monthers I'd say somethings wrong.Any ideas on what it might be would be great,I'm growing under 2 4 foot flouros 36w and they just dont seem to be growin right please help

hmmm.. sounds like there's something wrong with your lights...you could also try getting a soil ph test kit from big w or kmart or something..

yeah Ph problems can stunt growth. if the plant has a lot of light green or yellow leaves this is an indication of a pH or nute problem. you want to aim for a PH of 6.5 in soil

 

also how close do you have those fluoros from your plants? Fluoros ideally should be no more than 100mm away from the plants.

 

do you mean 1 month from seed? Remember that your soil & fluoro setup is going to grow a lot slower than your average hydro setup with a HID light.

yeah, once they come out of the seedling stage into the vege stage then they'll go a bit faster...but I found that my mj stretched an awefull lot under flouros and I didn't like it one little bit...I was so disappointed with those 36 watt growlux lights..only good for clones imho..

If you put them under a 400(min) watt growlight they'll go a lot faster, as mr Putard mentioned, fluoro's are ok for clones but not for the veg and flowering period.

g'day to answer youre questions I've got the lights about as close as they can get and I'll pick up a ph tester asap and see what the levels are I dont think there out of the seedling stage yet and I cant get a pic to ya I dont have a scanner yet which is funny considering I'm in photography but will have in less than a month.So I'll get back to you guys when changes have been made and thanks for the input

eerrrm... sounds like you need a good digi camera...I don't like scanners...they're finicky things...I've had 2 and they're both busted...If you put cuttings and buds an stuff on them...they come out real cool though...

I've already got one at a place I'll be workin at soon a scanner i mean so I'd rather spend my money on a light than a digi camera
