hydro dirt problems

gey guys and girls im ozziegreen from the far south east coast of oz . jus wonderin if neone had ne systems for watering there pots in the growspace without bein messy i have trays but its to time consuming to hand water even doing it in the bath.my babies miss out on the light while there drainin out as i hate havin sittin water in there thinkin of run to waste or drip neideas ? ps have learned heaps through u guys time to put it into action 8 wrhinos,3 ozblue and two sensi skunk all at 2.5 wks veg post pics soon :peace:

roofing tin on some bricks with a tray under the lower end,,,then just empty the tray ..............my plastic trays are only about 10cm high...60cm by 45cm....................or a kiddies pool,,they suck up the water pretty quick or if room is hot it will dry up quick or give them less water so you dont have much run off,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,taking plants out of the room tends to give you balls coz they are getting differant light all the time,,one week they are getting full light next week they are in the corner,,,,does the plants head in

I bought pots from the Hydro shop that have a small whole in the bottom to fit in a hose connector, then i joined em up to some hose with a T piece between them and run a simple gravity system for drainage, its just a matter of pouring out the drainage bucket when i water the plants, just an idea you can elaborae on or modify to your needs
