Where do I start?

Recommended Posts

Firstly hi to everyone ... :peace:

Ok, have smoked for years and it's time to finally attempt to grow some.

I currently have some seeds wrapped in moist paper towels. On a plate, and covered with a bowl and sitting under my bed. They've been there a massive 6 hours now and so far no signs ...:peace:

IF!!! ... anything happens, then the next step is a bit of a mystery, but I think it will involve a plant pot and my garden, if I'm not too late ?!?!?! ... haven't a clue about all of this!

Wish me luck!

get yaself some seedraising mix... one thats high in nitrogen.. and some small pots.. just pot them up like ya grandma used to do.. theres no need to treat them any different from any other plant.. place the seeds about 10-15mm below the surface.. they will sort them selves out..

they will grow them selves really.. just as long as they got enough water and good sunlight.. you cant really go too wrong..

nitrosol is a good fert to use.. its organic.. and you can get a few different blends.. for veg and flowering..

Any idea where to buy 'seedraising' mix from ... Bunnings ?!?!

I was out yesterday arvo and got hold of some small (8" ish) pots and some 'potting mix'. Wasn't sure at all if the right stuff so got some anyway as it was only $3.

Still no sign from the seeds tho, been 32 hours so far ...

I had 12 Bagseeds. 6 i attempted to germinate similar to this. after 3 days i planted in styro cups

the other 6 i put into some potting mix in styro cups at the same time.

3 out of six germinated plants came up.

5 out of 6 straight to soil plants came up.

after 2 weeks the straight to soil plants were towering over my germinated plants.

after the two weeks i planted in 40lt pots filled with organic potting mix + aged horse manure.

Has any one tried an experiment similar to this ?

Hi again.

I've not been able to reply to my thread or start a new one ?!?!? ... so have created a temp username.

Anyway, it's day 12 and 5 out of my 6 seeds died ... :( ... or let's just say they didn't leave the soil in their quest for sunlight! ...lol

BUT! ... I have this little baby left. I've had a few leaves drop off, but have been told this is normal ... :scratchin:

Today I've noticed a little yellow colouring on the edges (see pic). Should I be worried anyone??
