Steve Kubby was a candidate for the Libertarian Presidential nomination in 2008, and the runner up for the party’s VP nomination in 2008 and 2000. The Law and those who enforce the Law, have made a fundamental, immoral, illegal and unconstitutional shift in their Rules of Engagement. As a medical cannabis activist, my colleagues and I are the first to be see and feel the boots of those who are intent on hijacking the Law to suit their own evil purposes. Here is what we see.

 

Under the Constitution and Bill of Rights in the US and the Charter of Rights in Canada, the Law is intended to provide a SHIELD, to protect the rights and welfare of citizens from those who would abuse those rights and those citizens through force or fraud.

 

However, the Police, Prosecutors and Judges, have betrayed the trust placed in them, subverted the Law, and turned their dreary, moronic rules and regulations into a SWORD, intended to harm, not protect the citizens they are supposed to serve.

 

Those responsible for these crimes against their fellow citizens, are traitors, by the very definition provided by the US Constitution, Article 3, Section 3: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

 

The penalty for treason is usually death: “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

 

When our the Police, Prosecutors and Judges, have betrayed the trust placed in them, when they wage a “War on Drugs” that is used as an excuse to jail more people and more minorities than any other country in the world, or in history, then we have Traitors and our security is more threatened than any criminal act by terrorists.

 

These same Police, Prosecutors and Judges have violated their oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution, and now openly violate and abuse the very laws that give them their power to begin with.

 

When they protected us, our Police, Prosecutors and Judges deserved our trust and respect. But now that these public serpents, have betrayed our trust and openly wage an illegal, unconstitutional, immoral, and Treasonous war against us, they are the Enemy of all freedom loving people and only a real and genuine revolution will right the wrongs of such a corrupt and evil society.

 

As freedom loving, peaceful people, we abhor violence, but there is no avoiding the blood fight that lies ahead. When the Law becomes a Sword, instead of a Shield, honest men will take up arms to defend their rights, their families and their way of life. As difficult and painful as it is to admit it, Thomas Jefferson said it best:

 

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

it seems rather short-sighted of this kubby fella to lay blame at the foot of the police, proseccutors, judges who are directed from the White House and the evil doers who nest within it ..

in today's America alot of Federal laws(and to a lesser extent state laws) stem directly from the Executive power of the president which has now become the final word in American law

 

the police, prosecutors, judges an DEA, (dunno why kubby exempted them from his argument) do as they are told and if they dont they are sacked and new ppl who will do the job are found, they have no freedom to write or interperate laws, they are merely agents of Government and enforce the Governments' laws and wishes regardless of whether that be spying on their own citizens through wire-tapping , or torturing alleged criminals, or imprisoning citizens who use Cannabis ...

..except that kind of excuses that most oxymoronic of all creatures: The 'activist' judge. If judges are simply meant to uphold the law, then it's not their job to defines it, or to redefine the constitution or to sit on ANY cases that line up with their particular personal soapbox. Unfortunately this isn't the case so they are not off the hook. But also, aren't the higher court judges appointed y the pollies anyway? Which again is a conflict of interest as 1)judges will sell their impartiality for political favour and 2)the pollies will only appoint judges that are sympathetic to their social agenda.

 

Judges should be elected and held accountable to the people.
