making stock solutions is freaking easy any noob chem book will show u as to what concentrations to aim for for each stock solution just google it.

 

all u need is a calculator a periodic table and n=m/MM

 

no offence to u though dude it was thoughtful to post it, i was laughing at a company trying to sell software for a $100 that could be made in half an hour on excel.

105 to learn something new which might save me 1000s in future...cheers......as im very new to all of this still dont know detailed makeups of nutes or much about chemicals at all this could be an easy way 2 learn. No doubt there is more info out there u dont have to pay 4 but hey......i can afford the 105 .............cheers chron....might need some help with it

you dont have to be a computer wiz. keep your $100 in your pocket. i bet if u searched for 20mins you could find a spread sheet. Thanks for the sarcastic remarks sorry for trying to save you money.

 

OK yeah i think this could be a good contribution i could make to the site. However rather than explaining how to do ill just make the spread sheet in excel myself. im a busy person give me a week or two

 

Mind you its hard to source some of the ingredients you need. Ive made stock solutions a few times and i can tell you that working out what u need in whate volume water is the easy bit then its the dissolving and mixing and weighing, all this is a pain in the arse even though i have the chemicals i just buy my hydro nutes they arnt that expensive. although they do have amazingly large levels of mark up. ever noticed that the price of N ferts EG urea have doubled in last 2 years yet hydro nutes are still the same price???? huge mark up
