ADVICE ON FLAVOUR

I LIKE STRONG FLAVOURS IN MY GRASS AN SUJESTIONS ON WOT STRAINS I SHOULD GET.

PLEASE RECOMEND THREE COMPLEATLY DIFFERENT STRAINS

FOR INDOOR GROW ROOM

some ozstoner legend created a thread on curing with essence(vanilla etc.) to affect the flavour.

 

so i guess you could grow your fav indoor strain, and tweak things at the curing end.

when it comes to flavoured buds its much better to get a strain that was bred for its flavour, eg. dj short's blueberry. you'll definately get a much nicer tasting crop growing that strain than say skunk #1 and adding dried blueberries to the curing jar. adding flavours has its limitations like you cant really get rid of the original flavour unless you water cure the buds or something drastic like that before hand. i found that that its best to find flavourings that will compliment the strains your are growing, eg. my jack the ripper strain has 2 phenos, lemon and mango. i have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and orange food flavourings in my pantry and while this is just a guess at this point, im about 99.999% certain that the orange flavouring would be the best one for them. the orange flavouring would compliment the natural citrus taste of the strain instead of distracting from it using the chocolate essence for example...

 

as for strains it really depends on what you like. with cannabis you can get strains that taste like just about anything you can imagine including chocolate, coffee, liquorish, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, mint, dirt, petrol, etc. the list is virtually endless. my advice is to know what you like and shop around looking for strains with a description that you like. after you find a strain you like look for grower reports on the strains before making a purchase just to ensure you are getting exactly what you want

Aussie Blue is one of the most unique tasting and smelling strains Ive grown. Very lemon fresh, sweet. Amazing bag apeal. Nirvanas Afghan would top my list also.

Hey riverrat, what is the stone like?

i have some flowering now and it smells great, doesn't smell like bud yet but it does have that lemony/sweet smell you speak of.

the problem is there are too many to chose from a bloke could spend a fortune at a sead bank like attidue.

have read your flavouring thread and will be giving sum vinilla pods a go in a small sample . if i like it i might try some others
