My First Grow Box

Perksy

Recommended Posts

This is my first time attempting to build a grow box.

I need some general tips on how to ventilate the grow box.

i aslo need to know what would be the best light to use that i could pick up from a hardware store.

I have had a few tips from different places when it comes to lighting. but i just seem to get more confused.

I do not have alot of money so the cost must stay low.

Where's the box going to be? I guess what I'm asking is can you ventilate it well. You might get away with an HPS/MH mounted on top of the box but I mean it would probably get burnt from being so close. Your looking at running a couple of CFLs putting some good ventilation on it and running a little hydro with some 3 gallon (or smaller) buckets. You might have some big heat problems with a HPS/MH setup.

That's just my opinion though. Stay posted for more comments by others.

No....a scrog is A Screen Of Green....Where u have 1 or 2 plants in a small space and train it into a net to keep an even canopy maxamising light and yields but keeping plant short. A hps is a type of High Intensity Light ( hid ) called high pressure sodium which emits a yellow light which is best for flowering. But is the best light to do an all round grow.

This link is of a SCROG and pics pretty much explain it all, Thanks 2 gills great grow:yahoo:
