No ones talking strains anymore

Seems to me since the old "Talk strain" forum has disapeard. (has it or is it just in my head?) and that different strains just aren't being discussed anymore. Gotta say that this was one of my favorite sub forums. Yes there is the "strainguide" but that dosen't allow for any discussion on strains only reviews.

 

So is this the right place to discuss strains? If it is why isn't anyone using it anymore?

Thanks Billo there are threads there but very few posts of late.

 

SO "Cannabis genetics" and "Narcotic cannabis genetics" are the strain forums . I reckon the lack of use may actually come down to the tittles of these forums. IS it just me or do the these titles imply something more than talking about available cannabis strains on the market? To me the titles imply these forums are more about breeding, genes, landraces and other complexities. Not to mention these two sub forums come under "Cannabis breeding rooms" which has nothing to do with buying F1 and IBL's from retailers. IMO it be more appropriate to have a sub forum called "Cannabis Strains" which is an entity in its own right. Im sure thats how it was months ago when it was way more popular.

river i reckon you are 100 % right ... and i reckon its funny too , cause seems to me some of the sub-forum titles were just put there cause someone just smoked a hash-laden joint and thought it was a good idea at the time ...

 

in fact i think the term 'Narcotic Cannabis Genetics' is very inappropriate and only panders too, and reinforces the official government bullshit fucking laws that class Cannabis as a NARCOTIC FFS!!! ...

please dont tell danoz about it!

I'd love to see morer infos on the effects of different strains, which can be wide & varied even amongst related strains. I don't smoke/grow to just get stoned, I smoke/grow mainly for the nice effects some special strains give me. It sucks having to buy xx strains to really find out about their unique & special effects. Very few sites have this sort of in depth quality info for the connoisseur smokers/growers/breeders.
