New Grower

Recommended Posts

I think you need to slow down a little research first and figure out the basics too much for one post. Research on nutes, Ventilation, Lighting and lighting distance, Mediums, how to correct problems, flushing, Harvesting Curing, and Odor Control. then get your self some ordinary bag seed and plant them. if they survive buy some seeds. remember your first harvest is nothing compared to your last. Lastly you really need to think about the commitment it takes to produce.

you need to look at your grow space to calculate the amount of light your going to need. you need to setup a budget and make sure it's feasible. there no cheap way to do this.(well there is but you would be disappointed) you need to look at security and know your laws if it an issue were you live. know what type of sentence your facing and realize the potential gain from the risk. I recommend soil as its more forgiving.

Growing pot seems to be a life long addiction enjoyed by many I must say its a very relaxing hobby.

Checklist for New Growers

ARE YOU OVER 18 AND LIVE ON YOUR OWN OR WITH LIFE PARTNER?

Are you willing to base your time around a grow schedule?

What type of Grow space can you work with.

What type of yield do expect (average: .5grams per watt IE:250 light will potentially bring 125 grams)

-Note this is for fairly optimum conditions

What type of budget do you have to work with.

Do you want a perpetual harvest or annual?

Please answer these question and we can further assist you

If you only wish to grow pot then plant a seed in the ground and come back to it when its finished. Mother nature will tend to it better than someone with out commitment.

Pretty much everything Abra is what you need to think about. If you decide your are going to do it then you should start by getting a little more specific with your question. First thing is whether or not what your planning is actually possible. You don't want to have to be snooping around people if its in a house/apartment and you don't want to have to be sneaking around if its on property that has frequent traffic. This leads you to your next question. Indoor or Outdoor? You have two completely different ball games at this point. Start with that and then start asking for more detailed advice.

Online there are some very good booklets about growing. Start there and you'll be surprised about how in depth these sites go. On the other hand you may get one of the more long winded members of the site giving you a basic tutorial (If your lucky)

Anyway welcome to the site and good luck!
