what seeds to post back from the Netherlands?

hi all,

I'm new on the board, nice to be here :peace:

For the last 2 years I've been living in the Netherlands aka Holland. Have really enjoyed the smoke here, and I'm planning on sending some seeds back home to Melbourne, to try my first grow.

So I'm posting to ask, what kind of strains would be a good choice? I live in the mountains a few hours drive from melbourne, to give you an idea of climate. I'd like to try a basic indoor soil grow, as well as planting some in the bush during summer (theres an enormous wilderness area nearby, many private places to grow a couple plants here and there!)

Would like to try a few different kinds of seeds, but I want to buy strains that are hardy... this being my first grow and everything. Can someone recommend a few strains to try? Generally I like sativa dominant strains, although I understand indica is better for outdoors?

Also, how long will the seeds stay alive? I'm not sure how soon I can start the grow, and I'd also like to keep some seeds for next time.

Thanks for any help, I'll be really happy if I can start a successful grow with this nice Dutch product :smoke:

then buying any seeds that corespond with me fav smokes

yeah thats what I'm thinking, but I don't wanna buy strains that are hard to grow... I've never grown before so I want to start easy!

Am I right in saying that with a basic indoor grow (soil, and a couple hundred bucks worth of lights), I can grow any kind of strain?

What about for outdoors... what strain will grow in a Melbourne climate, with minimal care?

For example, should I try a sativa for the indoor, indica for the bush grow?

Oh and thanks to the first poster too... this sounds like good advice, to speak with some seed sellers, I will probably do this. but I would also like advice from Aussies who have actually grown in our climate :smoke:

Thanks again! :peace:
