Over 15,000 marijuana plants were seized and destroyed in the heights of Petite Savanne by police on Monday, October 13.

 

According to police reports, the street value is estimated as over EC$1.5 million.

 

There were no arrests to the related incident, but police officials said they will continue to do all in their power to rid the streets of illegal drugs.

 

The House of Niabinjia previously called for the decriminalization of ‘ganja’ in Dominica.

 

One Rastafarian Lawyer urged law officials to minimize the sentence given to young offenders found with small portions of marijuana.

i guess if the police found 15,000 plants that means they dried the buds out and then manicured it as well

the least they could have done was take all the leaf off and cut the smaller buds off to remove excess stem
