2 week old seedlings

Guys, i have some 2 week old seedlings just growing out in the sun in pots.

the nights are getting colder in brizzy and i was wondering if i could repot them into bigger pots and put them under the house with a 250 or 400 metal halide over them?

if its viable, how do i keep them warm at night or do i keep the lights on 24/7 to help with warmth?

Will a good potting mix be ok?

Also i lashed out and bought some A&B CANNA VEGE

nutes, can i use this in soil or is it mainly for hydroponics?

I wouldn't worry about the temps...it's not the best time to be raising mj seeds as they are an annual plant..

They're supposed to bud, drop seed and die...Not sure if they'll live through to next season in brizvegas..but around the equator they can survive to next season..

 

If you want to get a decent yield of them either leave them out in the full sun..or vege them some more with a 400 mh or hps...I'd get a 600 or 1000 hps and put em in a closet or grow chamber as you'll want to control the photo period.. or you could gamble and leave em outside once veged to desired height under lights as it'll delay the onset of flowering...hehehe sounds a bit like cheating huh? but seriously you'll be better of putting them in a dark space with a hps and no light leaks.

Wrong time of year to be starting an outdoor grow. You better move them inside with a grow light and minimum 18 hour light period. In a cupboard they should be warm enough. Ideally you want them between 24-27 in the light period. In the dark they can go down to 15 without a problem. Good ventilation is the key. You should have at least one exhaust fan with possibly an inlet fan. An oscillating fan inside the cupboard is important too.

 

Check out the PH of your potting mix. Searles premium potting mix has a PH of 6.5 which is ideal for MJ plants. wish I knew that before I started my first grow.

g'day; if growing under house, block all air vents 1st, leave lights on during night time to keep temps up, use 18/6 light cycle prefferably.

if using canna, only use at about 1/2 recommended dose...use 50ml of part A&B to 25ltr water, only feed every 2nd week if at all, Canna is hydro nutes, not required in soil.

fresh potting mix needs no extra ferts added.
