Need to know dimensions of your cuphoard....pm TOM and hell probably let you know........specifics

But as most cupboards are small Id say have 3/4 clones in there...grow em 2 weeks - if you are feeding them nutrients 3 times per day and then turn em over and 55 days later...they just might be ready....

Specifics are hard to give, especially when you are screwing around trying to imitate nature in a room. The 55 days would be using the fastest grow methods under optimum grow conditions, in reality you are doing the best you can with what you've got so in all probability it will take a little longer. It would take three to four months from planting the clones until you are smoking mj, after that you should be on a two month turn around using the two cupboards.

g'day; imo. seed companies tell bullshit...55 days flower means 60-75 days flower, 65 day flower means 85- 100 weeks. best i've done was 70 days from seed to harvest, was crapola stone, but very fast.4 weeks veg.

i reckon average flower time for indoors with lights is.....Indica, 6- 10 weeks of 12/12.

Sativa, 8 - 20 weeks of 12/12.

for Sativa;i reckon any longer than 10 weeks of 12/12 will cause regeneration if not finished. pure sativa should flower at 16/8, then 14/10, then 12/12 etc until finished in my opinion.(indoors).

I have shiva shanti...flowers in 6 weeks (first pick) then another 4 days to 2 weeks for the second pick...so it depends on whether you ar multipicking or just doing the one chop.........

full turnaround with 3 plants is about 3 months and 2 weeks.....with 4 plants its about 3 months....with 5....... and thats starting from clone...not seed...and only using one room to grow in....oh to have two rooms.....

Howdy,

Hey Sols, can you help me understand the sativa thing a bit better, I've only tried 1 pure Sat crop with my old outdoor mums, TFD Haze and TFD Thai, and the Niagra strain, which was all hermy.

Anyhoo, I never had reveg problems, And I don't understand, the Thai took the longest to finish at about 15 weeks I think, and I didn't notice re-veg, the haze I think musta been a hybrid 'cos it was well and truely finished first.

Anyhoo, can you go deeper into the flowering method.

do you cange the lights down say 15mins a day? or 15mins every 2 days or just an hour every week or 2??

Also could you tell us about some exotic Sats you've grown, I'm more an indica or haze hybrid kinda guy than a pure sat guy, but have you grown any Sat's as exotic as that Desert Rose plant you pictured??

g'day; with some sativa strains, not all, if light times stay too perfectly controlled, the plant may become accustomed to 12/12 light cycle and buds can start to stretch and regrow, i like to start 13/11 for 4weeks, then cut time back by about 1/2 hour each week or fortnight, just so plant dont get too used to light cycle.

plant only goes into flower because it thinks it is dying, it must grow heads to be able to grow seed.

Thai strains are from very temperate zones, thais are reknowned for hermy tendancy.vietnamese black (i think) flowers for up to 20 weeks.

i've not tried this method, but believe it is ideal method for indoor sativa.........start seeds on 12/12 light cycle, increase lights on time by 1hr per week until you achieve 24 hours lights on. now, turn lights down by 1 hr per week until you get to about 10/14 light cycle, plants should be finished and ready for harvest 1 week after 10/14 is started.

niagara X superskunk is not dufficult to grow indoors, i not tried pure niagara yet.

Malawi Gold is the most difficult sativa i grown indoors, flower time of 10 weeks plus, likes to stretch a lot, would grow to around 20' tall in aussie outdoors if started in september.
