estimated yield

Recommended Posts

Hi people, got a couple of W Widow cupboard style in soil my custom cupboard will allow them to reach 60cm tall max! otherwise they will likely burn under the 400w HPS.They appear to be quite bushy at 30cm tall will enduce flowering at say 40/50 cm.

I know people say that they can double in height from the first flowers through to fully matured but in my experiences with soil grows they usually don't grow more than 25% of the original size during the flowering period.

What could I expect from this strain at this height of 60cm?I would expect an ounce max of each plant due to the small area and potential size being only 60cm tall.

What do you guys estimate ?

i estimate that those ladies are going to stretch more than you expect, especially seeing as how it is a new strain to you.

until you grow a strain out a couple of times you can never be sure of what to expect. because of that its always better to turn them when they are a little smaller to prevent them getting out of control. if they end up being smaller than you'd like take it as a learning experience for the next grow and vege them a little longer.

anyways 2 white widows in soil, under a 400w hps and being turned at around 40-50cm tall should easily yield 2oz each, but provided they dont get rootbound, have heaps of water, nutrients, etc. and nothing goes wrong you could get upto 4 or 5 ounces per plant. i wouldnt expect the latter though, i have really only seen experienced growers pulling that kind of yield from indoor plants..

Thanks for the straight forward feed back chronic!(2oz per plant would be very nice, happy with 1oz per plant for first grow inside!)

Well like you said should be a great learning curve at any rate, looking forward to flowering

so far for first indoor grow all is well....I recommend to anyone put a handfull of worm castings/compost at the bottom of your pots and more if its a bigger pot. They really go crazy for it.I even had worms in the pots while they were growing and by gees they grew!
