Questions on NSW laws

Hello everybody, I just moved to Australia from Czech Republic.

I read a few of the posts and topics, but in general, my question is: what are the laws on Cannabis in NSW?

On using, possession of cannabis, growing a plant etc. My friend told me its legal to have 1-2 plants at home for own use.

So what is the truth ?

Welcome to Australia and OS/CN. You're mate is wrong Inaglo. It is not legal in any state in Australia to grow you're own plants. In NSW 4 or less plants growing in soil is classed as a personal quantity. If they are in hydroponics it is still classed as personal but it is a different charge.

cannbis in all shapes, sizes and forms is illegal in all states and territories of australia. it is not legal to poccess, grow, sell, etc. any part of the plant and even things like bongs, pipes, vapes and even bloody packs of tally ho rolling papers can be counted as paraphenilia which will only land you in more trouble if you get caught

 

tell your friend to read up on matters before passing things off as facts, especially when it comes to things that could get you sent back to the czech repblic or even worse to prison for a few years where your arse would be passed around like currency...
