Using a power inverter with a vapouriser

Hey guys. I've been using a Vapir One vapouriser for over a year now. I've been really happy with it, and want to keep using it for a long time to come. I have recently bought a 300 Watt (600 Max) power inverter from ALDI. I'm pretty sure that this thing should pump out enough power to keep the vapouriser going for at least a bag or two before the battery going dead (hopefully more).

 

After reading the instructions for the inverter however, it suggests that the inverter not be used for appliances that produce heat "such as hair dryers, microwave ovens and fan heaters".

 

Does anyone think it would still be safe to use the inverter with the vapouriser? I don't want to plug it in, switch it on, and have the thing blow up (I've already had one Vapir One die on me for no apparent reason).

 

I can't smoke anything due to health problems, so I need the vapouriser, and if I blow it up I'll have to wait too long to save up for and order a replacement.

 

Has anyone tried it before, or know if they can help? Thanks.

Have to say that i have never tried before , BUT your average home hair dryer is about 1200 -1500 watts at peak point with the better ones getting closer to 3k at peak point so allot more than the vapir one, Heaters are much the same in my exeriance, I belive that it is these high outputs that lead to the warning but you may want to await a reply from a sparky or someone with more exeriance

i've used my Arizer Extreme Vaporizer many of times at my mates places with no worries at all. My mate has an inverter, and runs off 2x solar batteries.

The inverter should have a maximum rating for the amount of Watts it puts out .

Find out how many Watts your Vap machine uses and if it is lower then your safe.

Nearlly all electrical equipment has a sticker to state that it use so many Watts.

 

As Pure stated a hair dryer / Heater uses over a 1000w. I dont know for sure but a guess is that the vap machine

use 100-200watts (Guess?)

Thanks for replying, guys. I think I've read that these things don't use much more than 75w, so I think it should be fine with the 300w inverter.
