Are these plants too skinny to produce buds?

These are two plants which i have been growing outside in england since june 1st

they are reasonable height, the taller one is about 5ft 5 and the smaller is about 5ft tall

they arent that bushy and have quite skinny stems

They look alright to me mate...You should still get some nice bud of them both..

 

I dont think there to skinny..Do you know what strain they are??

i have one sativa but its really short and i dont think it will produce much

They look much like some of my early outdoors grows, stretch comes from hiding them away in a shady spot, should still get nice buds off them, maybe not big amounts, but no reason why they shouldnt be good smoke. The more direct sunlight they get the better the yield will be, I know you are not in the best part of the world for it but every little bit makes a difference.

if you want those plants to produce a decent amount of buds you'll have to take them out of those small pots and either transplant them into huge pots or even better put them in the ground. i personally believe the pot should be as big as you want the plant to be above it, eg. if you want a 5ft x 5ft plant you should get a pot as close to that as you can, but the ground will always out do pots every time provided they have the same conditions

What if i cant put them in bigger pots or the ground?

they have only just gone in those pots

will they not produce buds if the pots are too small?

if you cant transplant them into the ground or into largerpots they'll still flower for you, its just instead of pulling heaps of buds you'll be lucky toget an ounce or two per plant

Ok the stem on that dosen't look right how much ferts have you been giving it neways? I agree it will still flower but you could do much better in a hydro setup imo.
